9th and 10th grade students picking up laptops from the high school tomorrow can also get their yearbooks. Pickup is from 1-3 tomorrow afternoon.
High School: 9th and 10th laptop pickup will be from 1-3 on Wed, Aug 19th at WCHS in front of the library. This is only for those two grades. A $50 tech fee is required to get a laptop. 9th and 10th grade students will only report to school on Thursday, Aug 20th of this week.
Hello Winfield City High School Family: On Friday August 14th we will have computer pickup for 11th and 12th grade students starting the year virtually. The time for pickup will be from 1-3. Tech Fee: $50 to use laptop provided.
WCHS Dual Enrollment Students - Please watch your school email for payment instructions (if you turned in paperwork) and for information about meeting times for classes. We are waiting on Bevill State to get you enrolled in the class on their end. It may be next week before payment can be made.
Winfield High School Family Reminder: We will have 9th grade orientation tonight at 6 PM. All new students to the high school are welcome to attend too. Please only bring one parent or guardian and enter through the back door of the commons.
WCHS/Update Virtual Pickup Friday: We will only distribute laptops to 9th and 10th grade students Friday afternoon. The devices for 11th and 12th grade students are not available yet. The tech fee is $50. This money will be collected when the laptop is assigned to students.
WCHS students - to purchase a parking pass you must have all documents in hand (insurance card & driver's license). Without these documents you will not be able to pick out a spot.
WCHS Students - for parking you will need the following: $25, driver's license, and current insurance card (paper copies - not on your phone) For lockers you will need $10. If paying with a check you will need cash or 2 separate checks.

Update: As of today, the start of school has been pushed back one week. We will continue with our staggered plan. 9th & 10th grade students will report on Aug. 20th and 11th & 12th grade students will report on Aug. 21st.
Reminder: Freshman and new student orientation is scheduled for August 11th at 6 PM in the commons at the high school. In order to socially distance, we are only allowing one guest with each of our students. The meeting will also be recorded and streamed on our web-page.

Hello Pirate Family!!! 20-21 School Year: 9th and 10th grade students will return Aug 13th. 11th and 12th grade students will return Aug 14th. The entire student body will return on Aug 17th. We will let you know about Open House very soon!!! Go Pirates!!!
The registration deadline for the ACT scheduled for July 18th is June 19th. Please register by the end of the day on Friday if you plan on participating. WCHS will be a host site for the exam.
Students: Mrs. Weeks just sent out an email that contains instructions for the selection of courses for next school year. Please read the instructions carefully and go over the options with your parent(s). There is a one weeks window to complete your requests.
Seniors: Please come by the school to pick up your diploma and your sign. We are here from 8AM to 3 PM Mon- Thurs.
Students: Today will be the last day to bring your laptops by for drop off at the high school. We will take them until 12. You can also return books, get your report card and clean out your locker. Seniors: We have your diplomas in the main office. See us today!
Reminder: Happy Memorial Day!!! Students can return their laptops, textbooks, and library books tomorrow and Wednesday from 9-12. We will allow 10 students in at at time.
REMINDER: Graduation practice is today, Wednesday, May 20th, at 5:30 PM. You must be present to participate in graduation on Friday. If you have any library books that you have not turned in, we can take those from you tonight.
