Reminder: Progress reports were sent home today with every student. Attached to the progress report is a letter reminding everyone of the attendance policy.
Winfield Middle School in conjunction with Winfield Elementary school will host 5th grade and 6th grade Math Night tonight 11/16 at the elementary school starting at 6:00 PM. Door prizes, give aways, and lots of fun. Hope to see you there.
Winfield City Middle School is having one of the student’s favorite meals, today. Students can choose from either Mozzarella Cheese Sticks w/Marinara Sauce or Pepperoni Pockets with Corn, Salad, Juice and Milk or they can choose the P & J Grab ‘n’ Go.
Students at Winfield City Middle School are starting their day off with a breakfast choice of either Sausage Gravy and Biscuit or Pop tarts or Assorted Cereals. Each breakfast includes a fruit, fruit juice and milk.

All framed art from our Art show may be picked up at the Winfield Elementary Library tomorrow from 8:00-3:00. If you did not purchase framed art but would still like to take the original home, it will be available also. This includes middle and high school art as well.
Lady Pirate basketball tryouts Wednesday May 17, 2023 for girls entering 7th and 8th grade. Tryouts will be at the high school gym right after school until 5pm.
Friendly reminder that tomorrow 5/15, is Field Day for WMS. Shorts are permitted as long as they are appropriate length
On Friday, May 12, 2023, Dr. Gary Fowler will be at Winfield Middle & High Schools to perform sports physicals for any student who will be participating in any school sport in the 2023-2024 school year. There will be a 10 dollar fee for each student. Please fill out and sign the front of the physical form. Please have your child bring the form and 10 dollars with them to school on Friday. We will begin the physicals at 8:00 am.

A Title 1 meeting will take place at WMS on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10:00 in the cafeteria. All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.
Congratulations to our 12u Lady Pirates! District champions!! They play for State in 2 weeks.
WMS: Report Cards can be picked up at the office each day, Monday - Thursday, from 8:30-2:00. If you have any outstanding debts, they will need to be paid before receiving the report card.
Any 5th or 6th grader interested in working on basketball skills are welcome to come to the high school gym on Thursday, May 19th. They will meet from 5:30-6:30.
Monday, May 16th will be WMS field day. Students will be allowed to wear school appropriate shorts and hats. Concessions will be sold and sun screen is recommended.
