Each summer, members of Winfield City Schools meet at an off-retreat to plan for the upcoming school year. The administration compiles a list of items during the school year to discuss to drive improved outcomes for the next school year.
The administration, directors, and supervisors divide into teams for a friendly trivia contest during the planning days. The competitive nature of each group yielded T-shirts this year with the “Sea Terrors” and the “Elite” competing for a plastic trophy that was their version of the Claret Jug. When the dust settled, there was a tie. The retreat was a great success.
