Close on their heels was Midfield High School of Midfield City Schools that took home the second-place finish and Pollard McCall Junior High School of Escambia County Schools coming in third. Way to show your math muscle! The Runner-Up schools will each receive a $100 Amazon e-gift card to plan a future celebration with their math-a-letes.
The Alabama Math Cup Teamwork Award goes to five randomly selected classes that passed at least 50+ math lessons during the contest. The below classes have their choice of either an Amazon, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s or Domino’s $50 e-gift card award. - The Newton-3rd Period class of Flomaton High School, Escambia County School District - The Donahoo Math Gr 6 - Period 1 class of Thompson Middle School, Alabaster City Schools - The Algebra II A - Bonner class of Handley High School, Roanoke City Schools - The Mathematics, 8 - Borland - 4 class of Northridge Middle School, Tuscaloosa City School District - The Mathematics Grade 6 - Fulks class of West Limestone High School, Limestone County Public Schools
