Pirate Spotlight - Tune-in at 97.7 GOLD WKXM: Coach Rhodes and the Computer Science "App" State Competitors will be sharing their experience!
Congratulations to WCHS SkillsUSA State Champions!They came home with two gold medals. Declan Smith won 1st place in Power Equipment Technology and Briana McCullar won 1st place in Motorcycle Service Technology. For winning 1st place they were both awarded championships banners, gold medals, $100.00 gift certificates from Lowe’s, $2,000.00 scholarships to any Alabama Community College, and they will have the opportunity to compete at the SkillsUSA National Championship in Atlanta, GA later this summer. #ALSkillsUSA

The schedule is as follows:
Monday 4/17 Science Grades 6 and 8
Tuesday 4/18 English (Sections 1/2) All grades
Wednesday 4/19 Math (Sections 1/2) All grades
Thursday 4/20 English (Sections 3/4) All grades
Students will need a pair of headphones and a good night's rest. Students can not enter a room late so everyone needs to be on time and present all next week. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! Go Pirates!!
Congratulations to Mrs. Birmingham's Rocketry Team (Cole Kirkpatrick and Aiden Gunter) for advancing to the National Finals of the American Rocketry Challenge. They will be a part of the top 100 teams in the country participating in the event.

The WCHS Junior class toured Mississippi State University on Wednesday.
