
On Monday, February 7th, our Lady Pirates will host Oakman in the first round of the 3A Area 10 tournament. The game will begin at 6:00 p.m. All tickets must be purchased through GoFan. Currently, GoFan indicates the game will be played at Sulligent which is inaccurate. The error has been reported and should be cleared up before the game on Monday.

Tech Days - The 9th grade class visits Bevill State to learn about the career technical programs. Programs visited were machine tool technology, automotive, electrical systems, salon and spa, nursing, computer science, office administration and welding.





Congratulations to Anna Ary for being selected as the Bryant Jordan Scholar regional winner. Anna was chosen from athletes from 7 different schools in our region. Anna will represent our region at the Bryant Jordan banquet in the spring. We are so proud of you.


Winfield Middle School Child Nutrition Program received some hands on training with What’s 4 Lunch this week. We worked on a lot of manual Combi training…the why’s and proper processes…oh and kitchen efficiency…and line setups/efficiency…and prep…and yes they did great!

Students with last name starting with A-M come at 8:00am.
Students with last name starting with N-Z come at 9:00 am.
Students must be 5 years old on or before September 2, 2022.
What you will need on the day of Kindergarten Registration:
1. Only the child registering for Kindergarten
2. A copy of the original birth certificate
3. A copy of the child’s Social Security Card
4. Original up-to-date Blue Immunization Record
5. Two copies of proof of residence
6. Completed enrollment forms (attached)
7. Any pertinent court papers regarding student’s care
What to expect at Kindergarten Registration:
*In order to allow for social distancing, Kindergarten Registration will be held in 2 sessions.
*Only the student registering should be present with a parent. Siblings should not attend.
*Arrive at the appropriate time.
*Follow the signs and building through the auditorium doors only.
*Sign student in at registration table.
*Turn in required forms listed above. Bringing copies of required forms will decrease wait times.
*Parents will attend the Parent Orientation in the Auditorium, while students take a kindergarten
readiness test with teachers.

This is a message from Winfield City Schools. Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Buses will run their normal routes. Winfield City Schools will require mandatory masking when students return and will make decisions at the end of each school week to continue mandatory masking or return to mask optional.
