This is a message from Winfield City Schools. We are asking parents/caregivers to notify your child’s school nurse if they test positive for COVID or are a household close contact of a person positive for COVID. We will use this information to form decisions about schools reopening on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 or remaining virtual. mballard@winfield.k12.al.us Winfield Elementary School hgruwell@winfield.k12.al.us Winfield Middle School kayers@winfield.k12.al.us Winfield High School

This is a message from Winfield City Schools. Our current school schedule will be as follows: Winfield City Schools will be open Thursday, January 13, 2022. Friday, January 14 will be a virtual learning day. Monday, January 17 will be a school holiday and Tuesday, January 18 will be a virtual learning day. These changes are due to the increased number of positive COVID cases. Plans are to return to school on Wednesday, January 19. An announcement will be made in advance should there be a need to extend virtual learning. The Child Nutrition Program will send meals home Thursday after school, and information about instruction for the virtual days will be sent home on Thursday as well.
